I like the video on the Maxi dress. I like them but I do not like the jersey knit maxi’s only because they hug the whole boddy and show curves and bumps :0). Do you have any suggestions for this type of Maxi dress? I have seen some I like but after trying it on I don’t like the “hugginess” (I know that’s not a real word!) I thought about my imitation spanx but I haven’t tried one on with them.
Hey Robin -
I’ve got two suggestions for you:
1. Try buying the jersey knit ones as size larger. You might have to do some alterations on top for a good fit but at least it won’t cling so much to the rest of your body.
2. Just avoid the jersey knit versions all together. There are so many more fabric options for this dress. So don’t waste your time putting on spanx under what should be the most comfortable dress you wear all summer.
Make sense?
