This makes sense:
Matt Kearney at Chicago House of Blues

Matt Kearney at Chicago House of Blues

Last night I got a chance to see Matt Kearney live in concert.  As you can imagine, if you listen to any of his music, he was good.  What a talented cool guy.  Such an awesome vibe.  While, I want to feature my favorite song “Closer to Love”, I would be re-missed if I didn’t share a track from his latest album.  Check this out “Hey Mama”.

I can see you clapping to the beat.  Love it, right?  Well, if you get the latest CD Young Love you can play it in your house wearing anything but if you head out to one of  his concerts, like I did, here are a few tips:

  1. Know the venue – House of Blues is standing room only.  You will NOT want to stand around on hard floors with 4  inch heels.  I was impressed with the women in their sensible shoes.
  2. Be ready to be close – you won’t want other people rubbing up against your mink stole or spilling bear on it.  So jeans might be a good way to go.  I went with skinny cords inside of tall boots and a jean jacket.  Comfortable and washable.
  3. Be prepared to move – Matt might not have the floor doing the wobble but as you can tell by “Hey Mama” you will want to move.

Now let me know what you think of Matt Kearney.  And if you are heading out to any concert, check out these fashion and style tips for what to wear to a summer concert.

Glad you enjoyed the show! Your "what to wear" tips are excellent! I think all of Mat's shows were standing room only, the one I attended was and I was glad that I looked it up before I headed to the venue. By the end of the evening I was very glad that I had worn comfortable shoes.
