I have been asked often recently, “what should I wear to a baseball game?” It makes sense that this question is top of mind…it is baseball season. So I decided to give some suggestions for some updated looks for baseball games since last year I only covered tips for what to wear when you are sitting in the bleacher seats and the year before that…well, that’s just too long ago. So here are some thoughts to keep you fashionable while the boys knocked it out of the park.
1. Sky Box – if you are headed to the game as a VIP and will be sitting in the sky box, you might want to dress to impress while showing team spirit. AND remember, sky boxes are air conditioned so you might want to layer up to keep from getting too cool. So try wearing your team spirit on the bottom — pair colorful pants like this pair from Asos for only $44.82 with a white tank and white blazer (a summer staple you should already have). For shoes, you can dress it down with cool sneakers like Converse All Star Rock Stitch or go sky high with pumps that match your pants like Aldo Croner peep toe pumps. Now grab your satchel bag and then go ascend to the sky box.
2. Bleacher Seats – if you ticket has you sitting in the sun ordering beer and hot dogs from the walking vendor (ahhh…I LOVE it) then you want to grab the sunscreen and wear comfortable gear that shows team support. Again, find bottoms that have the teams colors like these Old Navy Women’s Plaid Bermuda Shorts and pair them with a team t-shirt, flip flops with bling like these Target Mossimo Libby Gem Stone Flip Flops and of course shades.
