J. Jill Announces 2010 Compassion Tees Now Available
QUINCY, Mass., March 24 /PRNewswire/ — The limited-edition J. Jill Compassion Tee arrives in J. Jill stores, catalog and on the web today. The net proceeds from the sale of this year’s Compassion Tee, up to $100,000, will be donated to the J. Jill Compassion Fund.
Over the last five years, the sale of the J. Jill Compassion Tee has provided support to organizations that help poor and homeless women become self-sufficient. Services range from offering basic necessities such as food, clothing and shelter to helping provide educational and employment opportunities. Since its inception in 2002, the J. Jill Compassion Fund has awarded more than $1.5 million in grants. Last year, the J. Jill Compassion Fund granted more than $350,000 to 28 organizations around the country.
This exclusive, limited-edition version of the J. Jill pima cotton elbow-sleeve tee offers a unique nature-inspired design with “compassion” in script on the back of the neck. It is available in three colors – white, zest and light grey.
