Product Review: Vichy Aqualia Antiox — Energized Skin Complexion in 3 Weeks

I am always the first person to throw my hands up for free product.  I think that’s how celebrities stay rich (or at least the ones that manage to stay rich) — they never buy anything.  Someone is always giving them free products and those swag bags at events are loaded down with luxury items that the average person could never afford.  But I digress, so while I get “free” stuff all of the time (more like t-shirts that are too large and hair care products not made for my hair) they are usually not worth talking about.  But two weeks ago, I was offered the chance to try out Vichy Aqualia Antiox (21 Day Intense Treatment) and Eye Cooling Stick, and of course, I jumped at it.

The Vichy Aqualia Antiox product promised to give me energized complexion – smooth skin and a rosy radiance in just 3 weeks when used twice daily.  Twice daily!  Now a beauty routine is not my typical thing, I forget to put on moisturizer daily.  How will this go?  Here is how it went:

  1. Day 1: Got the products. I was so impresed by the need to mix ingredients for the product and that it requires refrigeration. I typically buy my beauty care from the drug store so it only means opening the package and using.  Now I am supposed to apply morning and night. I try it that night.  I think the applicator is hard to use. It is a dropper but the product is all over the outside of it so how do I actually apply drops.  I move on to the eye stick.  I must admit that my eyes were really tired and itchy and the eye sitck felt so good – cooling.
  2. Days 2 – 7:  I keep up the routine religiously — apply in the morning, apply at night.  Dropper is still akward but I make it work.  I don’t really use the eye stick. My eyes aren’t puffy or tired.
  3. Day 8:  I notice that my sun damage spots are fading.  Really?  I look harder. Am I just in the wrong light?  Is this stuff really working?  I apply some to a dark spot on neck just to check.  Let’s see if that spot changes.
  4. Days 9 – 13: I keep up the routine religiously (sans the eye stick, sorry) — apply in the morning, apply at night (to my neck too).
  5. Day 14: The spot on my neck is fading too.  It is working!

Now, again it is a 21 day treatment so I will keep it up for another 7.  I love that my skin does look smoother and healthier.  I never believe those commercials that tout the benefits of products rejuvenating your skin but this really does work.  If you don’t believe me, try it for yourself or if you do believe me, you should definitely try it.  Then leave me a comment and let me know how long it was before you started noticing the difference.  Make sense?

P.S.  While I only used the Vichy Cooling Stick one night, the benefits are that it removes under eye puffiness and shadows.  Now while I am “older”, I don’t think I have under eye puffiness yet so I didn’t think I would be able to really evaluate the product.  But if you need a product like this, leave me a comment below.  We will pick one reader based on the comments to try the product out and give us a review.  It could be you.   Feel free to submit a photo too.  I love before and after pics. Hi, I am also trying Aqualia Antiox, but my box says ONCE a day... what do you think? If I use it twice a day, will I have enough for 21 days? Thanks

Hi Diane! I had enough for 21 days so I say go for twice a day. Let me know your results.
