I finally got around to checking out the Jean Paul Gaultier line at Target. This line, being touted as having perfect pieces for the spring, is getting lots of attention and selling out FAST (it just launched March 7th).
I walked in Target wondering why I hadn’t been in sooner since I love that store. An hour later, and leaving with extra stuff, reminded me why. But I digress…
The Jean Paul Gaultier line has a little bit of everything – t-shirts, dresses, shorts and jackets (there was only 1 leather jacket left in my Target). I tried on a few pieces for fit and laughed out loud in the dressing room. When is the last time you tried on junior sizes?
I really expected to love the Rolled Collar Flower Dress for only $39.99. I thought it could be perfect for work with a little white cardigan. While it is cute, I didn’t like the nylon material. 
I really expected to hate the Lingerie Lace Trim Dress. As I looked at it hanging on the rack, I thought this looks like a cheesy night gown. But I tried it on and LOVED it! This is a sexy little number for an evening out and only $34.99. Now don’t try to get smart and buy a gown to wear out. This really is a dress and is lined appropriately.
While there were still tons of other items I liked too, another favorite was the Spanish Mustard Halter Dress. It is made of nylon too but at least the nylon isn’t under my arm and the crinoline petticoat makes it worth it!
