So I’m just going to layer on the trends, how about that? Over-the-knee boots are the hot footwear trend this season. And what do they go perfect with? You’ve got it…leggings (we covered those yesterday in Part I)!
Can you wear this trend? We’ll we can make it fit but is it your style? Not the dominatrix? Not willing to have everyone focused on your thighs? Those boots will cause people to look up your legs (you know what I mean). But if you’ve got the moxie to wear them, go for it!

Will it fit? Now I hear some screams, what if I can’t get them over my thighs? Try a lace up version. I’ve got big calves and wearing the normal knee high boots often pose a challenge for me so I usually chose a pair that lace up the front or down the back to give me the room where I need it.
Can you walk in them? Really, you can’t maneuver in 5 inch heels. No worries, you’ll find plenty of heel versions this season so one of them will work for you.
Can you go cheap? Please buy leather so your feet and now legs and thighs can breath. That might mean you’ll spend a little more for a good pair of boots but they will be a trusted companion all season long.

P.S. Don’t forget to keep getting pedicures. Winter is the hardest on feet so you need a good soak and scrub!
