Men as I’ve said before the first two items that someone notices about you are your watch (still looking for one? check out Ernest Jones Watches ) and your shoes. This week, let’s take a quick look at how to keep the latter item in noticeable shape.
There is no need to spend an abundant amount of time or money to achieve a first class shine. You need a few key items; an old worn undershirt, a soft polish brush, and a can of shoe polish/paste. My personal recommendations are products made by Kiwi. They are all available at your local drug store, Target, or Wal-Mart.
Using the soft polish brush, make sure the shoes are completely free of any dirt or debris. Take a moment to tear the old shirt into strips that can be wrapped around your index and middle finger. Using your wrapped fingers take a bit of the paste and work it into the shoe. Take the soft brush again and buff your polished shoe to a high shine. Sure you can go to a major department store and have this done for you but why not take a moment to “do it yourself” in less than 10 minutes and for less than $10 dollars?
Fashionably yours,
