When I lived in NYC, I went to sample sales ALL of the time. It was a great way to get designer wear on a value priced budget. I still wear my Louis Vuitton coat that I got for a fraction of the real cost. And while they called it a “sample”, it was often overstocked items too in PERFECT condition. Now there were only certain hours you could shop and there were really long lines, so first come first serve. But it was worth it!
Well, here is an online version that is pretty cool, I mean haute – HauteLook.com. Here is how they describe their site:
