I LOVE to see a man in a three piece suit. Remember the comedian I told you about last week? He wore a three piece suit and arm garters (See Now that’s a signature style! ). It was a great look.
The cool thing about three piece suits, aside from being very chic, you can leave the jacket fully unbuttoned for a more relaxed look. BUT you CAN NOT leave the vest unbuttoned. I saw the most horrifying look the other day on TV. I won’t tell you who but a talk show host had on a three piece suit — the jacket was fully unbuttoned and he only buttoned the first button on the vest. It was horrible as his big belly stuck out from under the unbuttoned vest.
Moral of the story, if it doesn’t fit, don’t wear it. A great suit can be ruined by an ill-fit. You HAVE to be able to button the vest. Make sense?
