I was at this scholarship gala on Saturday night — you know that typical rubber chicken dinner, presentation you don’t really listen too, and bad entertainment. Well, this time, the entertainment was pretty good and I skipped on the chicken altogether but I digress.
The entertainment was the comedy of Trenton Davis. Not only was he funny but he was well-dressed too! A little cocky since he told me that he was the “best dressed man I would ever meet“. Maybe it was one of his jokes and he wasn’t that funny? Plus, he obviously didn’t read my post on the World’s Best Dressed Man. Okay, I digress again.
He did look great and to my delight he took off his suit jacket to expose (I wish I had a drum roll) ARM GARTERS. Yes, you remember them from the old westerns. Men wore them because sleeves came in only one length so they were used to adjust the length of their sleeves and keep them from getting dirty.
So I had to head to Wild West Mercantile to find them for you. They were only $9.95 a pair. Now if you are daring, try it. Let me know what kind of response you get by posting your comments below.
