That’s my five step plan for Spring. I shared it with the ABC 7 Chicago news team on Friday. Click here to watch the segment.
Now, here’s how it works:
1. Get Naked! — Okay, not really but these neutral/flesh tones might have people looking twice to make sure you do have on clothes. This color gives you a great classic look or it can be used as a base to really bring focus to other colors.
2. Take it Uphill — This season, the higher the better. All women’s shoes are from Nine West and on April 2 they are hosting Girls Night Out. Extra discounts will be given on all shoes to help achieve a higher level. Call your local store now to RSVP.
3. Jump In — I was wearing one of the most versatile pieces of the season, the jumpsuit. Dress it up or down it is ready to go for every occasion. This one is from New York & Co. for $76 but that’s before any deals. Sign up for their email list and you immediately get 20% off.
4. Layer it On — This season is full of 3rd layer outfits, and yes, the cardigan is back. You’ll find it in lots of great colors and patterns for women AND MEN.
5. Eat Sherbert — Just because one trend is neutral doesn’t mean we won’t have color and lot’s of it. Yellows, oranges, and greens — sounds delicious.
All of the jewelry and handbags were from New York & Co. too. New York & Co. has now become one of my favorite one stop shopping places. You might not find everything on-line so make sure you visit a store.
