I just left a fight party where I watched De La Hoya get crushed by Pacquio. But unfortunately, De La Hoya wasn’t the only loser tonight. Here are my choices for tonight’s winner and loser at the fight:
Winner
Sixty-four year old Michael Buffer is my winner for his plaid tuxedo. What a great, distinguished look with edge. Not many men can pull that off without looking corny. (The men at the party tonight didn’t like the look but what do they know?) Plus, he gets extra points for the pocket square.
Loser
Twenty-seven year old Keyshia Cole is tonight’s loser for her awful look. The uncombed mane, the lingerie masquerading as a dress, and the “wings” on the arms equaled a mess. I must say her face looked beautiful. But for the next fight, Ms. Cole might want to have a run through with her hair and wardrobe stylists.
