This makes sense:

Shoe Bags anyone?

I was packing my bags for a trip last week and couldn’t find my shoes bags.  I was flustered because I can’t travel without them.  How else do you keep you clothes clean and free from the debris that is on the bottom of the shoes you want to pack?  Hmmm…

It reminded me of the time one of my best guy friends was moving away and like a trooper, I headed over to help him pack.  I watched as he dropped his unprotected shoes on top of clean clothing.  I was astonished and asked “what’s up?  Where are your shoe bags?”   “My shoe WHAT,” was his reply.  I explained that shoe bags usually came with the purchase of shoes and he responed that they didn’t with his purchases.  Got it! Not every shoe brand provides shoe bags.

So hey, if your shoes don’t come with shoe bags, get your own.

  • Of course, I’d suggest heading to my favorite shopping place — Target.  There you can get two bags for only $16.99.
  • Or, make your own.  Just use an old pillow case, drop one pair of shoes inside and wrap the remaining case around the shoes.  Remember, this protects your clothes and your shoes so don’t try to make the pillow case the catch all for 6 pairs of shoes.  You don’t want them bumping and rubbing up against each other.

Make sense?

P.S.  Don’t use plastic bags, you want your shoes to breathe.
